Overview:

Charterhouse Medical are currently looking for GP ED/ FRACGP / FACRRM for an upcoming locum assignment as per below:
 
Level: FRACGP ED /FACRRM
Area:  GP/ED SMO
Location: Exmouth Health Services    
Rate:  $2700/day
Date Range: 20 May 2024 – Jan 2025
  
Must be available for mix of shifts including nights and on call (ED shifts 0830-1630, 1630-2400 and oncall 2400-0830 and GP shifts 0800-1630). If locum refuses to work night shift a lesser amount will apply.

• Recognisable level GP clinics and Inpatient care experience
• Competency to undertake and cover night shifts up to 30% of working session.
• Confidence on handling frequent mental health presentations and drug and alcohol complications
• Prospect of regular or long-term commitments 

Requirements 
GP Specialist Qualifications (FRACGP and/or FACCRM)
OR
In the absence of a GP Specialist Qualification, the CMP must be assessed as a (senior) HBMP
AND
Considerable Emergency Medicine experience in a rural setting - must be PGY6 and have 3 full years experience in Aust/NZ in Emergency Medicine
 
Current ED CME qualifications e.g., NNR, ALS2, ATLS, APLS, PROMPT, EMST, EMET, Rural Emergency Simulation Training (REST)
 
20 May to 16 June
20 May to 9 June
22 July to 16 August
3-11 August
24 August to 8 September
2 September to 18 October
9 September to 6 October
26 October to 3 November
4 November to 1 December
  
Additional Comments: 

• Ongoing requirement at the hospital.
• Return economy airfares (ONLY 50 minute flight from Perth!), Car and accommodation provided.
